The bolt-on maple neck undergoes a unique "caramelized" heat and drying treatment, giving it an aged feel and sound. This process, coupled with graphite reinforcement and a satin finish on the back of the neck, ensures durability and a comfortable playing experience. A conveniently located heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel further enhances the guitar's playability.Unusually for a San Dimas model, the guitar's 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard features 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets.
