Celts: History and Civilization

With no written language of their own, the dramatic story of the Celts is usually pieced together from somewhat one-sided accounts—records kept by the ancient Greeks and Romans, and later the Irish Monks. We can also learn much from artifacts and artistic renderings that still exist today. This history of one of the world’s most intriguing civilizations pays special attention to the artifact trail.
