When all you have in mind is the ambition to win, would relationships even matter? Directed and written by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft, and starring the voices of Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt and Paul Newman, Cars is an animated adventure comedy film that’s set in an anthropomorphic world where vehicles are living beings. The plot of this Golden Globe Award-winning film follows a car named Lightning McQueen who is passionate only about winning racing contests. However, when he lands up in a town called Radiator Springs while on his way to take part in the Piston Cup Championship in California, he understands through the friendship that he forms with a few that life is more about the journey than the finish line.
