Gameplay An edge action-adventure Game called Card Shark is focused on card cheating and deceit. The player assumes the character of a mute child working in a bar in southern France[1], and the Comte de Saint Germain then hires him to assist in the theft of their rivals' money and trade secrets. To climb the French nobility ladder, one must learn about 28 different card trick tactics, each progressively more difficult and building on the one before. One of the first tricks you learn is which way to wipe the table to tell your partner which suit of cards your opponent is holding. Later in the Game, it would be best to manage the deck's shuffling to ensure the Comte has the winning hand at the table. Your opponents start to suspect you if the prank takes too long or if the player shuffles the deck incorrectly; this is symbolized by a metre at the bottom of the screen, which fills up with time.
