Starring Ben Gazzara, Harry Guardino and Susan Blakely, Capone, closely follows the life of Al Capone, a notorious Chicago gangster. The plot centers around Al Capone’s rise and descent and focuses especially on the control that he had over the city - during his crucial prohibition years. A series of events lead to Al Capone’s entry into the Chicago underworld, where he battles mobsters and earns the love of Iris Crawford. However, he is arrested on the eve of St Valentine's Massacre, for a more trivial reason than other atrocities that he has committed- will he reform or will he get worse in his behaviour? Directed by Steve Carver, Capone is a biographical account of crime and drama intertwined.
