Call of Duty: World at War is a first-person shooter Game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision in 2008. It is the fifth Main Game of the Call of Duty series. The Pacific and Eastern Front theatres of World War II, which involved the United States, the Empire of Japan, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany, are the main subjects of the campaign mode's narrative. Based on various real-life engagements, it is told from the viewpoints of Red Army soldier Private Dimitri Petrenko, US Navy Petty Officer Locke, and Marine Raider Private C. Miller.
