By His Stripes: A Biblical Study On Divine Healing

For centuries theologians have grappled with the question of divine healing--and, seemingly, they are as divided today as they ever were. Unfortunately, there are extreme views on both sides of the issue. Some argue that every sick person should be healed, while others argue that divine healing ended when the apostles passed from the scene. Hugh P. Jeter believes that God does heal the sick today--and he supports his position with teaching from the Bible and case histories of those who have been healed in this century. The author is positive in his treatment of the subject, yet he avoids the extreme teaching and practices that have caused controversy and unfortunate results. His sane, Biblical teaching will encourage the sick to believe God for healing, and it will challenge ministers to preach divine healing.
