Building Stones for an Understanding of the Mystery of Golgotha

In this set of lectures, given in Berlin in 1917, Rudolf Steiner describes the advent of the Christ event - referred to as the Mystery of Golgotha - from an occult historical perspective, describing the secularisation of Christianity as a world religion through Constantine and the Roman church, in contrast to the spiritual Christianity as grasped through the Gnosis and by the early Church fathers, as well as by later illuminated individuals. With this as a background, Steiner details how the Christ impulse can be understood by modern humanity.
