These are snap together grip upgrades that replace the factory standard bucket handle. Fit most buckets with wire bails from 1 gallon to 7 gallons. The replacement handles are made from 2 separate pieces that snap together and replace that small factory tubular handle. These handles require at least 3-¾“ length of wire or rope up to ¼” in diameter in order to fit. Made from a tough and durable food grade polypropylene. Installation: The grips are shipped with the halves reversed one with respect to the other so that they will not engage unintentionally. To install you will want to remove the light weight plastic tube handle from the wire bail of your bucket. We are not aware of any bucket with a wire bail (formed wire handle ) for which the wire diameter is an issue for these grips. However there are some buckets out there that have a dimension between the two bends that is not long enough for the grip. This is not common. Some customers have chosen to trim the Snappy Grip handles shorter to accommodate such short wire bails but it is hard to describe that in detail here. You would need to apply your best judgement if that is the case. With the vast majority of all wire bails out there simply cut away the existing handle (use care decent household scissors are typically sufficient) separate the two halves of the replacement grip flip one half end for end align all tabs and snap together over the bare wire bail.
