Broncolor HMI 400 Crossover Kit, Includes HMI F400 Lamphead

When daylight is required, the HMI F400 focusable, weatherproof (IP 54), multi- purpose lamp is eminently suitable for shooting stills and videos, whether in the studio or outdoors. The light output is comparable to a 1200 to 1400 W halogen lamp, but it needs only a quarter of the power. Thanks to the large accessory range, light shaping leaves nothing to be desired. The light can be mixed with flash or natural daylight. The lamp can be fitted with an Open Face, PAR or one of a large variety of Softboxes. The Fresnel lens for the PAR reflector converts the lamp into a fully-fledged Fresnel lamp. The optional, foldable Litepipe (light tube) is ideal on location when space is limited. But what if you already own broncolor light shapers? Then the Crossover Kit is exactly right for you. It consists of a focusable HMI lamp head, an adapter for nearly all light shapers from broncolor and a Softbox. The complete equipment, whether Starter kit or Crossover Kit, is safely stored and well protected in a sturdy, generously dimensioned case. The HMI 400.575.800 ballast unit is equipped with an automatic voltage detection circuit rated for 90 V to 265 V 50/60 Hz; it is protected against water splashes (IP 43) and flicker-free. Even at very high ambient temperatures, the patented temperature control system ensures safe and reliable operation.
