It is recommended that you apply another coat of mineral oil or wax before using the cutting board for the first time. About our product: Luxury edge grain cutting board. Maintenance: Wash wooden boards with a bit of soap rinse in hot water wipe clean and allow to dry upright after each use. Do not soak the board and do not put the board in the dishwasher. Once a month apply a small amount of mineral oil or beeswax rubbing with a lint-free cloth in the direction of the wood grain. Wipe off excess and dry board overnight.
