Despite how unreal superstitions may seem, there is a reason why they exist. Directed by Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman and Steve Purcell, and starring Kelly Macdonald, Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson, Brave is an animated action adventure film for which Pixar rewrote their animation system entirely after 25 years. The first film to use Dolby Atmos, the plot of Brave follows a young princess who is a gifted archer. Her impulsive and defiant nature lead her to violate a custom which consequentially brings chaos to her kingdom. Having won an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe, this film is truly a visual treat.
