Perfumer Maurizio Lembo wanted to make a perfume that captured the essence of a gentleman. He was inspired by his own father and grandfather, whom he calls gentlemen always, and Galantuomo is the result. It starts with a crisp green and citrus opening that dazzles in its clarity. Anise and a host of warm notes round out the composition into something truly unique: warm and cool, a little tart and a little sweet. We also can't get enough of this incredibly generous packaging: Hidden under the 100 ml bottle is another 30 ml, a refillable travel atomizer, and a silver funnel. Maurizio is a gentleman indeed. Notes include tangerine, anise, nutmeg, ginger, frankincense, liquorice, cloves, cinnamon, clary sage, vetiver, vanilla, and oakmoss.
