The Digital Multi Scanner from BOSCH finds wood studs and other materials to help you work more precisely. It runs on a standard 9V battery, with one included so you can work right out of the box. This Bosch digital multi scanner also finds plastic pipes, metal objects and can even detect live wires for electrical projects. The tool has an ergonomic grip to make it more comfortable to use. Three light settings -- green for clear, red for faint detection and orange for near the object -- make it easier to home in on your target. The Bosch wall scanner also has an audible alert that chimes loudly to let you know if you've found your target, even if you're not looking at the unit. This device calibrates automatically in each of the three modes to save you time and effort.
