Bosch 5 In. Palm Random Orbit Sander/Polisher

Get a smoother, swirl-free sanding finish with the disc-attachment, pad-dampening and pad-backing features of the BOSCH® 5-inch random-orbit sander. Mount the discs more firmly with a Hook-Tight™ hook-and-loop system, which has up to twice the amount of hooks than other available random-orbit sanders. Use the Bosch palm sander's pad-dampening system to slow the movement of the sander as you lift it from the surface. Apply a cushioned touch to both flat and contoured pieces with the disc's soft micro-cellular backing pad. The sander tackles coarse sanding just as well, with a strong 2.5-Amp motor that has variable-speed control to adjust RPMs to the density of the piece and the stage of finish. The Bosch variable-speed random-orbit sander also makes sanding work less labor-intense, with a soft-grip top and multiple grip positions to keep hands relaxed and steady, and a tightly constructed body to reduce vibration. Keep work areas cleaner and safer with the sander's dust canister with dust-level indicator, an anti-spillback system that keeps dust moving away from the sander and a microfilter that traps particles 1/2 micron or larger. The sander can equip a variety of Bosch Airsweep™ accessories as well as pads and discs.
