Your opponents can now take more advantage of the environment, take cover and flank you when you least expect it. The enemies in the game range from Bullymongs and Stalkers to the Hyperion mechanical army and many others. You can even drive cars around the planet to reach your destination much faster. The quests in the game range from rescue missions to taking out battalions of enemies who charge you like a powerful avalanche. All these elements add depth to the gameplay, making the game innovative in its genre. Customization of weapons has been reworked in Borderlands 2 as you can now select weapons based on damage type, firing rate, magazine size, round type, reload speed and other factors. This is especially helpful when you are out on a mission to obliterate the mechanical army as you can opt for armor piercing bullets to kill your enemies. The game also includes disposable weapons that you can throw at your enemies once you have exhausted the bullets in them. This can be a fun experience as you can annoy your opponents to the hilt by throwing weapons at them every time the bullets get over.
