The first Game in the BlazBlue series is called BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. BlazBlue is a conventional 2D fighter in which a duel is fought between two characters. The Game's plot revolves around dissension and wrath within a strong council, unofficially referred to as "the Library," which governs a vast power that once saved humanity but now exercises it in protective, some would say repressive, ways. A "rebel" is round, and a match can have one to five. One player must either disable the other by dealing enough damage from various assaults to bring down their health to zero or having more health than their opponent when the round's timer expires to win a competition. Each character has three attack levels: weak, medium, and strong. Additionally, each character possesses a "distinctive" offensive technique known as a Drive attack. Key Elements There are 12 different patients to pick from. Pick a fighter that best embodies your combat style, such as the ferociously strong Tager or the lightning-quick Taokaka. Drive your way to victory using each character's special Drive Attacks to annihilate your foe. Depending on the character, you can absorb your opponents' life power or manipulate elements like wind and ice.
