Blandings: TV Tie-In

The ivied walls of Blandings Castle glow sunnily in these six stories by the creator of Jeeves & Wooster (a selection approximating the BBC's first series of ). Ah, but there are snakes in the countryside ready to nip the absent-minded Clarence, Ninth Earl of Emsworth, where he least expects it. For a start, the Empress of Blandings is in the running for her first prize in the Fat Pigs Class at the Shropshire Agricultural Show, but now she's off her feed. Additionally, there's some argument about a gravel path being built through the castle's Yew Valley, not to mention the after-dinner dogfight in the drawing room, and the reappearance of Clarence's (alleged) old flame.
