Billy Finds a Pigeon

Story about a boy who likes to chat in rhyme that finds a stray white racing pigeon and he and his father nurse it back to health. Then the family decide that they may get a few pigeons of their own, the boy learns that mother and father used to keep a few years ago. Story set in England.
