PYAR KA SAGAR After the passing of their parents Bombay-based Bishen Chand Gupta takes it upon himself to raise his younger brother, Kishen. He arranges for his education in Ahmedabad. While Kishen is holidaying in Mahabaleshwar, the bus they are traveling in, breaks down due to a storm, and the passengers are stranded. Kishen comes to the assistance of fellow-passenger, Radha, and both eventually and passionately fall in love with each other. As Radha's birthday is on the 20th of that month, Kishen purchases a statuette of Lord Kishan and Goddess Radha, symbolizing their love for each other, as a present for Radha. It is then her Bua tells him that Radha has been married. A shocked and devastated Kishen falls down the stairs, is injured, and loses his vision. He recuperates and goes back to Bombay to live with his brother, who is now married to a woman named Rani. Kishen does not know that Rani is none other than Radha, who is refusing to reveal her real name to Kishen. Watch what happens when Bishen asks her to convince Kishen to undergo eye surgery to restore his vision. Will Rasha convince him, and if he regains his sight, how will the two adjust to living under the same roof. CHIRAG KAHAN ROSHNI KAHAN A pregnant Ratna loses her husband, eventually gives birth to a son, Raju, in a hospital where she is treated by renowned Dr. Anand. Four years later, Anand re-enters their lives and starts becoming a frequent visitor. This does not auger well with Ratna's mother-in-law and Bela, her husband's sister, who make her life miserable, eventually forcing Anand to stop visiting. Shortly thereafter Anand gets married to a nurse, Maya Verma. Maya is a spendthrift, does not get along with Anand, and eventually finds out the she cannot conceive. When Anand's dad passes away, he leaves considerable wealth to Anand's child, including a monthly allowance of Rs. 10,000/-. Maya intially plots with an advocate, S. Prakash, who is Bela's husband, who had assisted her in getting married to Anand, to try and prove that her late father-in-law was insane, and when that fails she and her aunt, Nurse Sarla Verma, concoct a plot that Ratna's son is really Anand's biological son, leading to their lawyer filing a custodial case in Court. The question remains is Raju really Anand's son, will Ratna readily give away her child, and is Maya capable of bringing him up. CHAR DIL CHAR RAHEN The film had three love stories runing concurrently, though not interlinked because the characters don't really interact with one another despite the location, a crossroad habitation that they share. Govinda (Raj Kapoor), the disheartened dhoti-clad Ahir boy ruthlessly separated from his lady love - the outcast Chavli (a deglamourised Meena Kumari) who is also banished from the village. Johnny Braganza (Shammi Kapoor), a waiter who is back from a jail term after falsely implicated on charges of bootlegging by the Hotel owner, Ferrara (David who succeeds in seducing Johnny'a girlfriend Stella (Kumkum). Now out he sets up a motor garage at the same crossroad. Pyari (Nimmi) who sets up a small shop, hoping that someday her rescuer from her lecherous employer (Anwar Husain), the Pathan driver, Dilawar (Ajit) will see reason and adopt both her as well as her mother whom he had despised.
