This is the Second reprint of this valuable work.Sir Jadunath Sarkar prepared a scheme in 1945 for the publication of a work by the society to commemorate the 200th birth year of sir William Jones in 1946. Dr. Meghnad Saha, President of the Royal Asiatic Society of Bengal in 1945, endorsed his proposal. This was the society’s tribute to its founder. Bengal Nawabs published under Sir William Jones Bicentenary Series contains Azad-al-Husaini’s Nawbahar-i-Murshid Quli Khani Karam Ali’s Muzaffarnamah and Yusuf Ali’s Ahwal-i-Mahabat Jang. These Persian Sarkar these are original sources of Bengal Bihar History during the muslim rules.
