The Volcano Aramid Prussik s are lengths of rope with sewn ends for making self-locking knots. The particularity of Volcano ropes is that they are made out of 50% Aramid mixed with polyester threads. While Prusiks in conventional ropes have a short lifespan because they melt quickly under the effect of friction the Aramid used in our ropes protects them from melting and greatly increases their lifespan.
