Barney: Now I Know My ABC is a home video from Barney & Friends series. Barney & Friends is a popular children's television series, which introduced the character of a purple Tyrannosaurus rex named Barney, who teaches educational materials to kids by incorporating songs and dance. Barney: Now I Know My ABC is directed by Jim Rowley and has voice overs from Dean Wendt and Carey Stinson.Barney & Friends are back again with loads of fun and entertainment. In this episode, Barney teaches children how to identify alphabets and phrase simple words. Barney also teaches children how to recognise different shapes and colours.First aired in 1992, Barney & Friends has enthralled children for over a decade and has produced a total of 268 episodes. The show is meant for children from the ages of two to five but is enjoyed by age groups that are much higher for its catchy rhymes and positive themes. Each episode opens with the Barney theme song, followed by the main plot that revolves around the episode's educational topic and consists of several songs and dance routines and ends with Barney singing ‘I Love You', after which there is a short recap of the episode and what the children learned that day. Barney: Now I Know My ABC was released in 2010 by Hit Entertainment in DVD format, with a U rating. The DVD also features a 30 minute bonus episode.
