This Autobiography introduces the author to diverse people as a descendant of Sengbeh Pieh of the Amistad Saga dedicated to efforts that will enhance Freedom, Justice, health and entrepreneurship especially in the Waster, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector of Human Development. Samuel is a dedicated Christian, a proud/humble Sierra Leonean and a very grateful citizen of the USA. He is the founder of Mid South Africa Link, Inc. (MSAL) a 501-c-3 Non profit Organization dedicated to helping improve access to safe and adequate supply of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in Sierra Leone and other Countries in Africa. He believes that access to WASH is a human rights issue of human beings for health and livelihood for sustainable standard and quality of life especially for women and children. It is estimated that WASH related diseases kill millions of people each year especially in African Countries, and about 60% of all infant death has been linked to infectious and parasitic diseases. Providing clean supplies of water and ensuring proper sanitation facilities in any human community will save millions of lives by reducing the prevalence WASH-related diseases. The royalties from the sale of this book will be donated towards efforts of MSAL to improve WASH in Sierra Leone. Water optimization for Community development is a project MSAL is promoting over the next three years. Grateful for your interest and support of this collaborative process with anticipation that the lessons from history will guide and empower all people of conscience to collaborate in efforts to greatly minimize attitudes and practices that dehumanize human beings in civil society of the 21st century. Water is LIFE and WATER is HUMAN DIGNITY!
