Atlas Sound PA1001G 70.7V 100W Single Channel Pole Mount Amplifier

This amplifier features an ultra compact design requiring only 1RU in height and 1/2 rack wide in space. The 100W into a 70V or 100V distributed system gives the power to meet most amplifier demands. The PA1001G power supply supports 120-240VAC power for global use and operation. The patent pending through hole chassis design makes it convenient to use with ceiling mounted video projectors. One or two units can be rack mounted also allowing it to be used in more traditional applications. Applications The PA1001G pole-mount amplifier system from Atlas Sound provides an innovative solution for display systems that require local sound reinforcement. Since the first projector was pole mounted in a ceiling, there has been a real quandary about how to best provide local amplification. The PA1001G pole mount amplifier is an elegant solution to solve this issue. The PA1001G includes a unique mounting system that allows projector mounting-pole access through the amplifier via a sealed hole incorporated into the chassis design. Simply install the projector mounting pole, align the amplifier chassis hole with the 1.5" mounting tube and clamp the unit at the desired height above the projector mount with the innovative pole clamp system included with the PA1001G. Afterwards, install the projector as normal. As a side benefit, the through chassis "hole" mounting system provides the necessary security to help deter theft. Output is a strong 100 Watts from the efficient rail tracking Class AB and switch mode power supply technology. The PA1001G power supply supports 120-240Vac power for global use and operation. The PA1001G includes a host of other innovative features including an accessory outlet with AC current sense that allows the amplifier to respond instantly from stand-by mode when the projector is powered on remotely, separate audio sense turn-on, balanced phoenix style and unbalanced RCA input connections, front panel status LEDs and recessed screwdriver adjustable tone and volume level controls. The PA1001G also includes a remote level control input that allows remote volume control of the main output via the optional AAVCC-10K. An unbalanced line level output is included to provide a feed to an additional amplifier and can be set to pre or post VCA Control. The slim profile chassis is also designed to work in a rack mount configuration.
