The CL1008MUKIT boasts an auto-sensing feature for station position on daisy-chained installations, eliminating the need for manual DIP switch setting. It also supports daisy-chaining up to 11 ACS1208A KVM units, enabling control of up to 96 computers from a single console. With the CL1008MUKIT, there's no need for additional software. Computer selection is made easy via pushbutton, hotkey, or on-screen display (OSD). The AutoScan feature allows for convenient monitoring of selected computers, and the hot pluggable design lets you add or remove computers without having to power down the switch. Security is also a priority, with two-level password protection allowing up to four authorized users and an administrator to view and control the computers, with separate profiles for each. The console also features two-level logout - manual and timed - for added security. The CL1008MUKIT supports firmware upgrades through flash ROM and offers PS/2 keyboard and mouse emulation, ensuring computers boot even when the console focus is elsewhere. The 17" RGB analog LCD display supports high XGA resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 with 250cd/m(sq) brightness, providing clear, crisp visuals.
