The alkaline sizing is used for both internal and external sizing, and no alum is used in the manufacturing process. The lignin content is tested by TAPPI 236 cm-85 and has a Kappa number of less than five. The single ply sheets are laminated together using an all-natural starch adhesive, and the board passes the PAT (Photographic Activity Test) ISO IT 18916 (formerly ISO 14523 ANSI IT9.16).Our Pearl White Conservation Mat Board offers a warmer tonality than our Bright White Museum Board. It's similar to Antique White, but with less of a yellow tint.
