This listing is for one glass jar 120ml house made Sausage & Buttons sauce from @animalerestaurant.
One jar is sufficient for a single portion (1 porsi), about 100-130 grams of fresh pasta.
Typically, you will see this creamy style sauce on your restaurant labeled as PASTA ALLA NORCINA. This sauce hailed from the town of Norcia, in Umbria. Norcia is well known as the producer of salsiccia "italian sausages", and Umbria itself is a pinnacle point of Italy's truffle tradition.
As the name suggest, it combines both our house made fennel sausage and black truffle to a creamy garlic base sauce. Reccomended with any short-cut pasta or long egg pasta.
We use only natural ingredients in our products, no additives nor preservatives. Unlike those "synthetic" sauces at your grocery stores, our sauce keeps in your fridge for 21 days if unopened, 7 days if opened. Keeps in the freezer for up to 1 month.
This particular Item will be packed in a glass jar, and sent with ice pack to help maintain safe temperatures.
HEATING DIRECTIONS:
• Empty the jar into a saute pan big enough to fit the pasta as well
• Heat over low heat until the sauce simmers
• Adjust the consistency of sauce using pasta boiling water
• Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, add salt if required
• Combine pasta to the pan & toss the sauce. Turn up the heat to reduce the sauce if needed.
