Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (5th edition) addresses the requirements of NFPA® 1003, Standard for Airport Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications (2005 edition). Additional material addresses the airport fire fighting apparatus covered in Chapter 9 of the 2008 edition of NFPA® 1002, Standard on Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications. Key parts of NFPA® 402, Guide for Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Operations (2008 edition), and NFPA® 403, Standard for Aircraft Rescue and Fire-Fighting Services at Airports (2008 edition), are also covered in this manual. Other materials included in this manual are those subjects included in the training requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) 139.315, 139.317, and 139.319. 452 pp.
