Corvid 44 12G BNC is AJA's blazingly fast, compact 8-lane PCIe 3.0 I/O card with four bidirectional 12G-SDI full-sized BNC connections, designed for today's most demanding video and audio workflows. Supporting 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, at up to 12-bit color spaces, Corvid 44 12G BNC offers ingest and output over 12G-SDI, which is also backwards compatible with 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI and 1.5G-SDI. The bidirectional 12G-SDI ports provide immense flexibility for capture and simultaneous pass-through for a range of solutions. 12G-SDI, Multi-Format PCIe I/O Card Corvid 44 12G BNC boasts four bidirectional 12G-SDI spigots with a Reference Input. 8K Input or Output is possible using quad 12G-SDI cables and 4K/Ultra HD I/O can be achieved with either a single 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI cable or quad 3G-SDI cables. 2K/HD I/O can be achieved with a single SDI cable or dual link SDI, while allowing capture and monitoring via SDI to take place simultaneously. Corvid 44 12G BNC is available with either active (fan) vs. passive cooling (no fan), with both versions supporting RS422 and LTC Input via headers on top edge of the card. Raster and Frame Rate Support Corvid 44 12G BNC supports 8K (8192 x 4320) and Ultra HD2 (7680 x 4320) High Frame Rate (HFR) workflows up to 50/60p for the most demanding applications. Film rates of 23.98, 24, 47.95 and 48p are also supported across 8K, 4K and 2K. High frame rates are also available on multiple I/O 4K, Ultra HD, 1080p and 720p HD up to 50/60p, making Corvid 44 12G BNC extremely flexible for your current and future needs. Hardware Keying The built-in hardware downstream keyer allows graphics and images to be easily overlaid on the input video in real time up to 4K. Reference and LTC Input Corvid 44 12G BNC provides one external, switchable LTC/Reference Input connection on the back of the card. RS-422 A built-in RS-422 connection is available as an "internal" connection via a header on Corvid 44 12G BNC. RS-422 allows control of external devices for frame accurate ingest and layoffs.
