A Vision of Venice in Watercolour (Royal Academy Collections)

These two books are the first offerings in a new series from Abrams and the Royal Academy of Arts, London, which reveals well-known artists at work. The artists offer insights into their approach to painting, as well as their opinions, inspirations, philosophies, and views on art, with valuable tips for both amateurs and other professionals. Working in a variety of mediums, the artists are shown painting both in their studios and in some of their favorite painting locations around the world.Venice, with its stunning architecture, earth colors, and atmospheric light, has had a great effect on British artist Ken Howard's work for over 30 years.
