An electric brake allows you to quickly and easily move between materials safely, and an integrated rubberized handle reduces fatigue. The Makita 6-1/2-inch circular saw design also features an integrated LED lighting system for illuminating cuts. This tool makes use of Makita's LXT design for battery efficiency and features STAR Protection Computer Controls™ to protect your tool motor from overheating and overloading. This Makita 18V LXT circular saw is compatible with all Star-rated 18V batteries. The tool uses 6-1/2-inch circular blades.
