Лёшгорн Карл Альберт (1819–1905) – немецкий пианист, педагог и композитор. Наиболее известен своими сборниками этюдов. Данный опус № 65 представляет собой 48 этюдов на развитие беглости и тренировки различных типов звукоизвлечения до трех знаков в ключе, причем большую часть сборника представляют этюды только мажорных тональностей до двух знаков. Подходят в качестве ежедневных упражнений. Издание адресовано ученикам и студентам музыкальных учебных заведений, а также всем, увлекающимся фортепианным искусством.
