Гжель — известнейший русский народный промысел, который отличается уникальным стилем росписи посуды и предметов интерьера из керамики.Изначально гжель была цветной, а в XVIII веке мастера начали использовать кобальт. Эта тёмно-серая краска становится ярко-синей в процессе обжига изделия.Так появился узнаваемый стиль гжели — синяя пейзажная и растительная роспись, которая соединяется с геометрическим орнаментом на белоснежном фоне. Мастера расписывают каждый предмет только вручную.
