Description
Ростислав Завадский родился в Санкт-Петербурге в 1908 году в семье потомственного дворянина. После революции эмигрировал вместе с родителями. Окончил Первый русский кадетский корпус в Сараево, а позже стал выпускником Русской стрелковой генерала Врангеля дружины (Брюссель) при V отделе РОВС. С нападением Германии на СССР вступил в валлонский легион вермахта (373-й пехотный батальон) и отправился на фронт в качестве переводчика. В дневнике рассказывается о службе в 1941–1942 гг. Уникальный документ позволяет читателю взглянуть на мир глазами эмигранта, решившего участвовать в войне против СССР на стороне Германии. Издание снабжено редкими фотографиями и материалами, часть из которых публикуется впервые.
