Эти эссе, написанные автором по-английски в конце 1980-х - начале 1990-х годов, были опубликованы в Нью-Йорке в сборнике "On Grief and Reason" ("О скорби и разуме"). В настоящем издании они представлены как в оригинале, так и в переводе на русский язык.
