Описание
Назван в честь горного озера Uigeadail (Угадал) – источника воды для производства Ardbeg. В переводе с гаэльского означает «тёмное и загадочное место». В 1886—1888 годах Альфред Бернард путешествовал через Соединенное Королевство, он записывал каждый отдельный этап своего пути, детально описывал дистиллярии. Его книга «Вискикурни Соединенного Королевства» очень известна в Шотландии. На момент его визита в Ардбег в 1887 году дистиллярия производила 225 000 галлонов в год, что равняется 1,1 миллиону литров. Теперь, столетие спустя, Ардбег производит практически равное количество. Впервые Ardbeg Uigeadail был выпущен в 2003 году как ограниченный релиз для сообщества Ardbeg Committee. Выпуск этого виски вызвал большой резонанс в мире. Спустя 10 лет Ardbeg Uigeadail стал вторым виски в коллекции вискикурни. Отметка 97,5 баллов в книге «Библия Виски» 2009 года издания Джима Мюррея доказала высокий класс и признание во всем мире.
