Wooden Camera Canon C500mkII Unified Base Accessory Kit

The Canon C500mkII Unified Accessory Kit (Base) is a camera support package designed for the Canon C500mkII camera. The C500mkII accessory package includes: Top Plate (Canon C500mkII), a top mounting cheese plate for camera accessory attachment that also includes our Canon LCD / EVF Bracket Adapter (C500mkII, C200, C200B), our Unified Baseplate (Canon C500mkII, C200, C200B, C700), a quick release baseplate that holds two 15mm Rod (12") at the correct lens height, and our Top Handle v2 for secure camera carrying.- Top Handle V2 -Top Handle V2 (2" Slotted Screw Channel) is a new top handle designed to screw directly onto the top of a camera or to a top cheeseplate. The Top Handle V2 has a side to side screw channel that can fit two 1/4-20 screws up to 50mm apart center to center (2 inches) and a center screw channel up to 27mm apart (1.06 inches).The handle features an ergonomic metal grip, a 15mm tube clamp for attachment of our UVF Mounts, two integrated shoe mounts, 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting holes, and ARRI accessories mounts (3/8-16 threaded hole with locating pins adjacent).- Top Plate -The Top Plate for Canon C500mkII camera has arrays of 1/4-20 holes in standard spacing and ARRI Accessory Mount in several places (3/8-16 threaded hole with locating pins adjacent). Included with the Top Plate is a Canon LCD Bracket Adapter which allows you to reinstall the L bracket and LCD that comes with the camera.This piece can be attached to the front of the Top Plate or to the front of Wooden Camera handles like the NATO Handle Plus V2 and the Top Handle V2. If a longer handle option is desired, consider the Master Top Handle.- Unified Baseplate -Unified Baseplate (Canon C500mkII, C200, C200B, C700) is a quick release baseplate that provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the correct lens height. 15mm rods pass through front to back and have two locking thumbscrews per side. The baseplate quick releases in two ways, giving the user the option to take the 15mm lightweight rods or to leave them behind.To remove the camera and leave the LW 15mm rods behind, unlock the right side thumbscrew, slide the camera backwards a short distance, and lift straight up. The dovetail attached to the bottom of the camera is an ARCA Swiss standard shape which can integrate with many third party products.Additionally, there are threaded 1/4-20 holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or tripod plates when necessary. On the sides, there are 1/4-20 holes and the ARRI standard accessory mount (3/8-16 threaded hole with locating pins adjacent). Also on this upper dovetail is a vertical 15mm rod opening which can be used to support a lens adapter foot directly in front of the camera body.The bottom of the baseplate is comprised of the Lower Quick Dovetail which has 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plate or ARRI standard bridgeplate such as Unified Bridgeplate (19mm) or Unified Bridgeplate (15mm Studio).To remove the camera from the included Lower Quick Dovetail and take the 15mm lightweight rods with you, unlock the left thumbscrew, slide the baseplate backwards a short distance, and lift up. This action exposes an integrated ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom which can attach directly to any 2060 Dovetails, Safety Dovetails, or Shoulder Rigs.For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate, providing easy counterbalance ability while on the shoulder. This could then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate which would be attached to the tripod head.- 15mm Rod -15mm diameter iris rods used for mounting accessories like follow focus, matte box, lens support, servo motors, and more.
