Threads of Tradition: Northwest Pennsylvania Quilts

This book contains color reproductions of forty-six quilts made in a seven county region (Claron, Crawford, Erie, Mercer, Venango, Warren/Forest) of Northwest Pennsylvania before 1940. The quiltmaker's photograph accompanies the quilt in most instances and short essays about the quiltmaker and the context in which the quilt was made are also included.
