The Dog Burner: A novel

Arlyn K. Rodgers has problems. Sure, one of his service stations won a Shell regional cleanliness award a few years back, and he invented the "Wacky Wednesday" gas promo copied by stations nationwide, but Aryln's petroleum empire is crumbling. And his 30 year-old son lives in a guest house in the backyard apparently doing nothing but playing loud music and smoking pot. And his wife is drifting away to pursue her own career after years as a dutiful housewife. And someone's been setting fire to dogs not far from Arlyn's home. His quest to find the dogburner becomes his quest to understand how his own life has turned out.
