Pocketing Feathers

This collection of poems carries Isip's theme of collage through four sections: "Frame by Frame" is a meditation on the loss of innocence and the pieces one stitches together to make sense of that loss; "The Thing That Is Dragged" questions the validity of memory and the biases that shape it; "Hundreds of Smaller Deaths" is made up of persona poems, one based on the death of Matthew Shepard and a series based on the death of the Apostle Paul; "The Look into the Canyon" traces the ways we manufacture our beliefs based on our limited vision.
