Playback revolves around Julian Miller, played by Johnny Pacar, an aspiring filmmaker who borrows equipment from his friend Quinn and decides to make a movie on an incident that took place in 1994 along with his closest friends. Once he makes the movie, Quinn distributes the movie to a nasty police officer. However, what Julian doesn’t realize is that he has practically unleashed evil through those horrid videotapes and Quinn is possessed in the process. Quinn becomes a killer in the course as he is possessed and things must stop before they go out of control in this horror-based thriller movie.
