Thupten Tendhar has journeyed from Tibetan exiles in India to teaching and graduate studies at the University of Rhode Island. He works at URI Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies, and has dedicated his life to promoting peace, wisdom and compassion for individual and universal peace.
