The quasi-autobiographical masterpiece by master horror writer Bret Easton Ellis combines elements of the author's true family and life, and his typically imaginative brand of strange and swiftly escalating suspense. Appearances by real life authors and past creations of Ellis himself, in particular a charming but somewhat unsettling stock broker named Patrick Bateman, make for a page turner you won't soon forget.
