The KIPON KAT2LCM adapter mounts T or T2 Mount series screw mount lenses on Leica R rangefinder camera bodies to take advantage of the wide range of lenses produced in T Mount. Your favorite T Mount lenses easily fit, lock securely and perform just like they were Nikon lenses. There are no interfering glass elements to spoil the optics. The lens adapter has a female M42½0.75 metric thread on one side. Even though no camera to lens automation or link exists within the adapter, the Leica R camera can provide exposure control. While infinity focus is retained in this design, only manual focusing is possible. This Kipon Adapter is constructed from aluminum alloy for durability, minimizing weight, while mounting rings are made with brass towithstand heavy use.
