After several months of waiting, finally we're able to present you with this year's crop of Halu Mekarwangi 2022. This is our 2nd year of sourcing and roasting coffee from the Mekarwangi co-Coffee operative. We've been told that because this year's coffee cherry price is increasing, the co-operative weren't able to process as much coffee as before. While this certainly is a bad news, apparently it also affects the control of fermentation of this year's coffee. Since the production is smaller, the fermentation of the coffee is much more controlled making this year's lot cleaner with riper fruit notes.
Still as "Fruit Bomb" as ever!
