Greenmax Chinese Yam and Multigrains Rice
1. Measuring Rice: Use the rice cup to measure rice (the amount of a cup of the rice is about 130 grams of Yam & Multi Grains Rice).
2. Rinsing Rice: Since rice with clean water quickly and gently. Rinse until the water is clear and not cloudy. Do not rub the rice grain when rinsing.
3. Adding Water:
1) Electric Cooker: Put 2 cups of Yam & Multi Grains Rice and 3 cups of water into the inner pot. Pour 2 cups of water into the outer pot. It can be cooked into 5 bowls of rice.
2) Rice Cooker: Put 2 cups of Yam & Multi Grains Rice and 3.6 cups of water into the inner pot. It can be cooked into 4 bowls of rice.
3) Making Congee: Pour 7 cups of water and a cup of Yam & Multi Grain Rice into a deep thick base pot. Boil up the water. When each rice grain become soft thoroughly and get thick, throw in some pork pieces (or scraps of meat) and vegetables. Cook it for a while and it'll be savoury congee. For sweet congee, add some crystal sugar instead of pork pieces.
4. Simmering Rice: Finishing cooking rice, stir at intervals to prevent the rice from sticking together or sticking to the bottom of the pot. Put the lid on tight, simmer the covered rice for another 30 minutes. Fluff it up with a rice ladle and serve hot.
