Ever since the 2006 match, where Deep Fritz won the six-game match 4-2 against then World Champion Vladimir Kramnik, Fritz Chess has fascinated millions of chess fans around the world. In this 11th edition of Fritz Chess, players discover a whole new level of playing chess on the PC and this in turn will help them improve their game as they go. Newer and more interactive gameplay The brilliance of the game lies in its ability to be played at both the beginners’ level as well as Grandmasters’ level. The game comes with a new and improved chess engine (about 80 Elo points stronger than the previous engine). The game also explains moves and positions using its coaching function. As a player, one can access the upgraded database of over one million chess games (from 1625 to 2007). The openings book has also got an improved look. Apart from this, there is also a new section on the chess server that comes with tactical puzzle solving competitions. Game mode and rating This sports game can be played in either the single-player or multi-player mode. The game has been rated 3 by PEGI.
