Composed - iBooks template

Composed is a formal yet approachable iBooks Author portrait template for content-rich ebooks. With its tasteful typography and narrower margins, it allows your prose to pack a punch without your ebook becoming a gazillion pages long. Some people deploy wide margins as well as large font sizing and line spacing simply to make their book look longer. It's obvious when they do it and sometimes counter-productive. Composed, by contrast, allows you to pack a reasonable amount into a single page but without the page looking bloated. Its colour options makes it easy to deploy for a series of books on different topics. As with all iBA Portrait templates, Composed offers a range of chapter, section, copyright, dedication, forward and individual page styles, as well as a style guide that explains the most common styles used throughout the template. Contents options: 1 Auto-generating contents when iBooks format is used within iBooks or made available in the iBooks Store. 2 Template contents page that can be used when iBook is to be converted to PDF for sale on one's own or another website. Colour options: Comes with 7 colour options: red, purple, navy blue, orange, lime, green and blue. Fonts: Comes bundled with Libre Baskerville and Karla fonts. Libre Baskerville was designed by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida, Karla by Jonathan Pinhorn. Chapter and Heading 1 headings are in Libre Baskerville Regular or Bold depending on size . Headings 2-5 are in Karla Bold . Table text is also in Karla Regular . Body text is in Libre Baskerville Regular . These fonts are open source fonts, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 OFL . The OFL allows use, bundling, modification and redistribution.
