Ben 10: Omniverse is an animated children’s show that has been adapted into a game based on the same set of characters. The game follows the adventures of Ben Tennyson who bears the Omnitrix which later becomes the Ultimatrix in later series which is a more powerful version of his watch. The game follows Ben in his mission to the underground alien city called Undertown. He is paired with a new partner now who is a plumber yet still an alien himself. His name is Rook and he is a by-the-book Plumber which is in contrast to Ben’s unorthodox approach to solving problems and investigating a lead. In the game, you can play as both, teenage Ben and also as the young Ben where you work together with Rook and try to defeat the evil plans of Malware, the antagonist of the game. Untold events from the past have affected the present, and it is up to Ben and his partner to solve the puzzle and discover the secrets of Malware’s plans for humanity and the galaxy. The game follows an epic storyline that spans more than just one time period, it spans two, when Ben was younger, and then when he became a teenager. You can unlock and play with over thirteen alien characters and heroes that include a few new ones like Bloxx and Gravattack. Choose and progress across 11 action packed levels throughout the subterranean alien city of Undertown and other locales. The game features some fast and action packed adventures and an all new storyline from the new Ben 10 Omniverse television series. The game’s single player mode also has a Co-op mode where two players can control either Ben or Rook. Feedback and Shocksquatch are also some new aliens to fight as. Upgrades to Ben’s aliens and Rook’s weapon, the Proto-Tool makes the game even more engaging. The Proto-Tool used by Rook has the ability to convert into a Blaster, Quantum Staff, grappler hook or a Power Sword.
